I n 1998, a local Cincinnati band named Felony started to grab everyone's attention. The band consisted of Alexx Fox on guitar,TJ Allen on vocals, Kris Kasich on bass, and Eddie Mac on drums. People were starting to notice this upcoming band, and the guys in Felony thought the fun had just begun. But, as often happens in many bands, egos within the band inflated at a more rapid rate than the bands success could grow. Kris Kasich (KK) left the band on bad terms. TJ moved back to drums and the band hired a new vocalist. After all the inner-turmoil the band had suffered, it seemed they could never recapture the magic they had created with the original lineup. About 1 year later, the band broke up.

KK and TJ went their separate ways and didn't speak to each other for over 2 years. KK had been in & out of bands that never seemed to get out of the basement. TJ took to matching his musical talent with his spiritual well being. He joined his church band.

After 2 years of struggling to find "the right band" again, KK had all but given up. It was about that time that TJ decided it was about time to find the spotlight again. He took the first step to reconciliation by calling KK with a, "let's get together and bury the hatchet" message. KK agreed, and 2 months later KK & TJ were back to jamming together again. Together they briefly joined Strange Jane to play one show. But, KK & TJ wanted to do more writing of their own, so they locked themselves in a basement for 4 months to do nothing but write songs.

They took all the good times & bad times they had ever felt in their lives and wrapped them into 12 songs. These 12 songs would become titled "Power of Sound". TJ & KK would become known as Lost Cause. That brings us to the present. KK & TJ have finished recording "Power of Sound" and have recruited Hollywood Teaze/ Planet Scream bassist, Bryan Mitchell, to play lead guitar. Teddy Lee Whitaker has joined Lost Cause on the drums. And, Glenno rounds the band off, playing the rhythm guitar.

Lost Cause is a now a full band. Look for them in the clubs; these guys love to play live shows. Also, they're all planning on working together on the next Lost Cause CD in early-to-mid next year.
